Mommy and Thad went on our first walk the other day! We went to visit Grandma Weiner at work! I will post photos of the 2 of them as soon as I locate the cord for my camera :)

We are home!

Here is Thad, chillin in the couch! We made it home, and its good to be here :) We do miss our favorite nurse, Rene ... But we are managing!

The first night was a little rough...i think Thad has his days and nights mixed up. Which is easy to do when all anyone wants to do is hold and snuggle with him! Each day keeps getting better though, as we learn more and more about our little guy!

We were back at the hospital nursery yesterday to get Thads levels checked for his jaundice. Aaannnddd we are in the clear! Whoop!

While there, Thad got to meet his new neighbor/potential girlfriend, Hadlee Hofler :) I will post a picture of them sometime soon!

Our engagement day, then our wedding day... We kept saying "that was the BEST day of our life!"

And now we are so fortunate to be saying it again. The birth of our son Thad. We really couldnt be happier, and I can tell already how great of a father Jake is to our little man :)

Thanks to everyone for the visits, calls, texts and gifts! We are sooo thankful for wonderful family and friends.

Thad Douglas!

Its a BOY!!! Thad Douglas Heimer was born @ 2:17am. 9 lbs. 6 oz. 21.5 inches long. Happy & healthy baby! We are in love!

Baby showers are the best! People are so nice to shower Jake and I with gifts, and we are SO appreciative!

37 weeks!

Our living room is filled with baby heimers goodies :) cant wait to put them to use :)

37 weeks, and feeling good! We are full term! Baby could come at anytime...crazy, huh? :)

36 weeks along!

Only 4 weeks left! Can't believe it... so excited to meet baby boy or girl heimer! :)

Wahhoooo! Baby Quilt!

Grandma Weiners infamous baby quilt! We are in LOVE with it! :) Now we just need Baby Heimer to come so he/she can lay on it! :)

35 weeks!

Only 5 weeks left! Cannot believe how time is flying! :)

My appointments are now going to be weekly, until baby arrives :)

The house is coming along, only a few odds and ends to finish up ... the nursery is my new favorite room :) I spend alot of time in the glider just looking around!

Life is going to change for us, but we are excited!

Birthday fun! :)

Soooo I turned 27 yesterday...still dont believe it... But it was a great day :) when we got home from work, we moved everything out of our bedroom...bc that is the last room to get new carpet! Should be in today :)

Thennnnn we started in on the babys room! It was awesome! Got crib and glider put together...changing table/dresser will be tonight and/or tomorrow night :) Its so rewarding to actually see progress!

Slowly but surely preparing ourselves for baby h! Loving it :)

Carpets in :)

Carpet, tv stand and tv that we've had since november! It feels great to have our living room back :)

Carpet!

We are ready for carpet! Super excited :) Jake has been working reaaalllyyyy hard for the past few months...in preparation for Baby H! :) new carpet, paint, trim, baseboard, kitchen, flooring, etc. We are excited to get the nursery put together and prepare for this new chapter in our lives! :)

30 weeks!

We are so excited :) 10 more weeks until we meet our little one! Still cant believe its really happening! :)

Week 29 - Almost 30!

29 weeks

Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His/her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his/her head is growing bigger to make room for his/her developing brain.

We are getting ready for the baby to arrive! So many things happening to our house lately ... but will all be worth it! Updated kitchen, new paint, new trim, new carpet, etc etc. Lots of work for Jake! He's done great :)

Hopefully new carpet beginning of next week! We are ready! :)

Cant wait to put this to use :) soooo excited for baby and warm weather to be here!
